The Magic City, owned by the same people, was painted also, according to an employee. The new concession offers additional items and is open during busy drive-in nights and for the flea market. It allows you to fit the whole movie on one reel, and only one projector is necessary. Unlike a platter, the projectionist must use a motorized rewind to rewind the film. These were taken with my fairly new digital camera and are much clearer. One of my pics from 2002 shows a reel on the rewind.
