Sahara Drive-In, Big Spring, Texas: This is a picture of the Big Tex Drive-in as it appeared in the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy. In fact, the drive-in is the first image you see in the movie. I believe the theatre was located on the eastern edge of Big Spring, on the north side of I-20.
